Muted, greyed teal
Scribo Grigio Scribo is an interesting shade of greyed teal or muted slate grey. It reminds me of a darker Davy’s Grey or a sage colour. On cream and ivory paper, I find the green ...view moreundertone to show up too much for my liking. However, on white paper, the colour stands out nicely. It does OK in my dryer nibs, but I prefer using it in my Sailor 1911L 21 kt H-MF LF wet writing nib. I achieve nicely saturated, contained lines, which are easily readable. I observed red sheen at the edge of where the ink pools in heavy application. I think people might reach for Grigio Scribo every time they’d want to go off the beaten path of traditional ink colours. This colour is one-of-a-kind, but doesn’t excite me enough to buy a bottle. view less

Interesting Color
This ink is an interesting, somewhat undefinable color, shading from a pale teal/gray to a darker teal with black undertones. Nice flow and relatively quick dry time.

Beautiful verdigris color
This is my first foray into Scribo inks, and I've been very pleased with Grigio Scribo. It has a beautiful verdigris color with a wide range of shading (using Lamy broad nib). Fl...view moreow has been very smooth. I must admit that I was also drawn to the uniqueness of the ink bottle, itself a beautiful piece. I'm happy to have it sitting proudly on my desk. It's a bit pricey, but then again, it should last me (and friends I share it with) a long time. view less
