J Herbin 1670 Bleu Ocean

J Herbin Bleu Ocean from the 1670 collection is a medium ocean blue ink with low shading, low copper sheen and gold shimmer. It dries in 20 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. J Herbin ink is made in France.

Heavily saturated blue fountain pen ink, with golden shimmer flakes. This ink comes in a sophisticated and timeless glass bottles with wax seals and caps.

The blue ink recalls the sea voyages of J. Herbin, a sailor. From his many journeys to India he brought back to Paris formulas for manufacturing sealing wax. His special lacquer formula improved the quality of the seals in adhesion and neatness, helping him to become famous throughout the kingdom.
