This pen was created to pay homage to Sequoyah, a Native American polymath, who independently created the Cherokee syllabary in 1821, making reading and writing in Cherokee possible.
The pen design is inspired by the native North American Sequoia tree, created with red wood-effect resin and a glint of gold.
It is available in a limited edition of 200, to celebrate the bicentennial of his creation of Cherokee written language in 2021.
