Color has long fascinated artists, designers, philosophers, and makers of all stripes. This enchanting set from artist Mimi Robinson contains six cards illustrating key principles of color theory and four different envelope designs'each with a wash of watercolor on the inside of the flap. All cards feature a detailed caption explaining the principle of color theory illustrated on the front of the card.

Artist, designer, and educator Mimi Robinson began creating color palettes for her own painting and teaching practice. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and is currently an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts. Robinson has worked extensively in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Caribbean and is the founder of Bridging Cultures Through Design, an initiative that promotes and engages creative exchanges between students and artisan communities around the world.
