Comprised of paper specially selected for its excellent writing quality, the Yamamoto Ro-Biki notebook is good for many writing utensils including pencils, ballpoint pens, and fountain pens. The cover is made of wax-coated kraft paper which has a smooth texture designed to show crinkles and scratches as it is used, leaving a unique and personal imprint. The paper inside is 100% recycled, warm chiffon cream colored. The saddle-stitch binding is strong and allows for 360° of motion.

William Merritt Chase was one of the leading Impressionist painters. He painted many landscapes as well as portraits and still lifes. Chase often included figures in his landscapes, often in languid poses such as a woman lying on a bench or beach, or a child lying on a lawn.
