Nassau blue ink made by P.W. Akkerman pen store in The Hague.
Originally made to celebrate their 100th anniversary, this ink comes in a vintage-style bottle with a narrow neck with a marble stopper, to create a well at the top to aid in filling pens.
Made to be the background color of the Coat of Arms of the House of Nassau. The current King of The Netherlands is a descendent of the House of Nassau. The House of Nassau is a diversified aristocratic dynasty in Europe. It is named after the lordship associated with Nassau Castle, located in present-day Nassau, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
