Introducing the Brunel GWR Pen celebrating the great engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel and the Great Western Railway he built. This limited edition of 231 pens is produced in collaboration with the Great Western Society, operators of Didcot Railway Centre, Oxfordshire, England which is a living museum of the GWR and the largest railway museum in the world dedicated to a single railway company.

The Brunel GWR Pen is based on the iconic Conway Stewart Churchill pen but has a most distinctive copper top echoing the copper-capped chimneys of the GWR locomotives. The body and cap are made from  lustrous deep green, and at each end of the barrel are gold-black-gold rings representing the orange-black-orange lining used on premier GWR locomotives that once roamed the British countryside. All the rings on the pen are 9k gold, and there is a wide 9k gold cap ring which is hallmarked to prove its quality and Englishness.

At the heart of the fountain pen is a nib made of 18k gold, engraved with the GWR circular monogram, promising a writing experience as smooth as butter. The pen is also equipped with a dual filling system, allowing for the use of both a converter and standard European ink cartridges, ensuring ease of use and versatility.

Each pen is engraved on the end of the barrel with its unique edition number, and on the barrel is a facsimile of Brunel's signature with his full name underneath. Every pen is made in England and these words are engraved around the barrel button to prove its heritage. A Certificate of Authenticity, recording its unique edition number and the signature of the workshop manager ensuring its quality and provenance is enclosed. Presented in a luxurious Conway Stewart box, complete with a user guide, a pen polishing cloth, two ink cartridges, and a guide to the engraved hallmarks, it is an exquisite gift for enthusiasts of British history and engineering.
