Pilot Iroshizuku Asa-Gao, aka Morning Glory, is made in Japan and is a beautiful dark blue color with some medium shading and a tiny bit of copper sheen in large swabs. It dries in 15 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has a wet flow. It’s a great everyday blue.

Lovely rich blue
I really enjoy rich blues like this. I currently have it in a TWSBI Eco 1.1 stub for signatures and big flourishes, and I love it.

Interesting, beautiful basic blue
Well behaved ink, it is a nice medium, basic blue. One of my favorites.

This was initially my favorite blue ink, but the purple lean left me desiring more
This blue was such an intensely blue ink, i looked past the purplish side of it to enjoy the subtle sheening and excellent shading properties of this ink. Pilot does a great job of...view more making varied, interesting and well-behaved inks, and this is no different. Monteverde Horizon blue is still my favorite blue, but when i need a true dark sapphire blue ink, bar none, I'll fill my pen with this. God bless you reader, EPH 2:8-9 view less
