Works w... view moreell in business due to its brightness and readability, equally well for personal use for its beauty of color, fast drying properties and plays nicely with nearly all papers. Perfect for demonstrator pens; so easy to clean, has never stained one. Speaking of cleaning, I've found it the easiest ink to clean up after accidents happened, and I've had a lot of those of the years. The color is a beautiful shade of clear blue; the shade most valued in prized sapphires, with a slight lean toward purple. The very first fountain pen ink I purchased, nearly a half century ago and the one I still buy today for all these reasons and more...like its lovely shading qualities, especially in flex pens. I've bought inks from virtually every ink company out there, thinking I was missing something, though I've found other favorites, I came back to Herbin EdS as my all-time favorite blue. Hopefully I'll never have to choose just one fountain pen ink, but it's the one that is always loaded in at least two fountain pens and I always have a backup bottle on my shelf. It is not waterproof, though after a heavy rain, a letter remained readable. Since waterproof ink is not high on my list of priorities, but clean up certainly is, Eclat de Saphir is the perfect ink for me. view less
