Its firm surface helps prevent excess ink from transferring and allows for detailed inking using the corners of the pad. Even when left open, the pad retains moisture well, making it ideal for extended crafting sessions. Not suitable for non-absorbent surfaces or papers with coatings such as art paper or coated paper. Depending on the paper type, ink may take longer to dry or may smudge.
