Kobe 82 Maya Coast Apple Green is a bright apple green ink with low shading. It dries in 40 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Kobe ink is made in Japan.
The Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art opened in 2002 in HAT Kobe, the new city center located in the eastern part of Kobe, as a symbol of the city's cultural resurrection from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It is one of the largest-scale art museums in western Japan.
The Green Apple was designed inspired by the poem "Youth" by American poet Samuel Ullman. It is installed on a seaside deck across from the Ando Gallery as a symbol of the gallery.
