Not orange, but a great water-resistant brown
I love this ink. It may start out orangish, but it dries quickly to a medium matte brown that leans to orange. So the orange is not lost; it's just not the dominant hue of this ink...view more on the page. I like writing with brown inks, and this one is a keeper.
Particularly because of the matte appearance of this ink, it really stands out on the page and the color is a pleasure to read. It reduces eye strain that comes from reading lighter color inks that can get lost on the page. If you like brown ink, this KWZ IG Orange might catch your fancy as a distinctive brown that you won't confuse with the other browns on your ink shelf. And it has the advantage of permanence. Once the ink has dried, it is possible to wash away the color, but not the dark grey iron gall script that is left behind.
Highly recommended. It's definitely worth trying a sample. view less
