I really like this color, it is similar to the Nagasawa Kobe line's "Nagata Blue #23" but more gray. The name literally translates to "dull blue;" and is reminiscent of the blue d... view moreesigns on Japanese ceramics. It is more muted than the vibrant indigo blue of shibori dyeing. The web picture is somewhat accurate, as there are four different colors represented in it. The color on Rhodia paper from an M nib is most similar to the bottom middle (the second lightest color on the swatch). I rarely purchase a lot of full bottles of ink, but I did buy this one. view less
