What you should know but don't see in the picture or description is that these are bank-style envelopes, with the flap opening on the side (short edge), not across the top (long ed... view morege) like a traditional stationery envelope. I don't know how the paper performs with ink, but I'm disappointed enough with the flap that at best it's 3 stars, especially given they're twice as expensive as some nice Japanese envelopes with top-flaps that I can only find in NYC for now. view less
