Pilot's generic blue is actually a really solid ink. It's a mostly neutral "business" blue, but it does have some shading to it, which keeps it from being boring in my view. It's... view moremaybe not the perfect choice for low-quality paper, but it does well enough for my tastes. To top it all off, this stuff is impressively water-resistant. Apart from BSB, I have never used a Blue ink that had such water resistance - and unlike BSB, this one so far does not bleed or ghost on any paper I have tried.
