This classic iron gall fountain pen ink is made using traditional methods, instead of the more modern dye-based methods.
This purple ink starts out bright and vibrant, and gradually darkens over time. Great care has been paid to color and shading, to offer rich, deep writing.

Favortie sketching pen -- Almost water proof.
I sketch all the time with this ink... I find I like "off" purples and this is one of them -- the waterproof qualities make it great even for foose sketches with watercolors (thoug...view moreh it might move a bit).
Somewhat water resistant, very well behaved, a tad dry but not so much that I don't like it (I like wet inks).
Notice the brighter image? What it look like when first laid down -- then dries very dark.
BTW, the reason I can give high marks to a lot of my inks is that I try samples. view less
