Retro 1951 " The MET " Van Gogh Wheat Fields & Cypresses - Rollerball

 Vincent van Gogh’s Wheat Field with Cypresses joins the Retro51 "The Met" collection. Cypresses gained ground in Van Gogh’s work by late June 1889 when he resolved to devote one of his first series in Saint-Rémy to the towering trees. Van Gogh regarded this painting as one of his “best” summer landscapes and made two studio renditions. This painting plus another vertical composition are part of The Met collection among many paintings by van Gogh. Retro51 is honored to present this new rollerball pen based on the master artist’s groundbreaking work. Multiple colors have been silk-screened onto the stainless barrel to recreate this artwork, framed with polished brass accents. The Met logo is featured on the top ring and finial with a numbered top disc. This pen comes in commemorative packaging tube with a base that can double as a pen stand when it is not in use.
