Deep, rich turquoise, almost teal
Robert Oster Bondi Blue is a turquoise similar to Herbin Bleu Pervenche, Montblanc Unicef Blue and Pelikan Edelstein Topaz, but deeper, richer, offering more saturation. Of the fou...view morer, it’s the greenest, but not by much. It has red sheen on the outline where the ink pools. I find it looks nicest coming out of wet nibs because of the sheen. My drier nibs got along well with Bondi Blue; it has nice flow. Though it’s rich and saturated, it’s still bright so that it can be used for corrections, marginalia and markup; it contrasts nicely with black print.

Great bright blue/teal
This is my first ink review! I'm using Robert Oster Bondi Blue in a Noodler Triple Tail flex, unblotted, on a Rhodia dotpad. It shades nicely from bright to dark (vs. "light" to da...view morerk), with the bright portions being a nice clear ocean blue--think deep Caribbean water. It would be an excellent signature ink but is perhaps a little bright for professional work.
There is a nice very thin rime of red sheen on nearly every letter. As I've been using my pen more it's running wetter, which is starting to bleed through the Rhodia and has less shading (but also has more sheen!). view less
