A true orange
I would say that Scribo Arancio di Sicilia ink is close to a true orange; not too yellow, not too red. It is slightly more yellow than Kobe #25 Tarumi Apricot and Iroshizuku Yu-Yak...view moree. It is not as saturated though. It did OK in my driest nibs, but really well in the wetter ones. Writing is readable even in my fine nibs, provided they have a wet flow. I see no overall sheen on TR 52 gsm paper, but there is an outline at the edge of where the ink pools that has some silvery sheen. In comparing my orange inks, Sailor Jentle Apricot (and Kin-Mokusei) still won the race, but Arancio di Sicilia was gaining ground fast. view less
