Traditionally used as a form of jewelry or other adornments, gems have always captured the eye of men and women alike. With this in mind, Monteverde USA has created the Gemstone Ink Collection, a line of brilliant fountain pen inks that are rich in color and vibrancy.

Each ink is made with Monteverde USA’s European ink treatment formula (ITF), which drastically improves ink-flow quality, extends cap-off time, and lubricates and protects the ink feeding systems from corrosion or clogging.

Monteverde Onyx from the Gemstone collection is a standard black ink with low black sheen. It dries in 20 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Monteverde ink is made in Austria.
