Van Dieman's The Wilderness Series- Federation Peak

Van Dieman’s Federation Peak from the Wilderness Series is a dark shadow grey with low shading. It dries in 60 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Van Dieman’s ink is made in Australia.

Van Dieman's is a proud Australian company that has made a concerted effort to improved their inks formula's and sourcing. Van Diemans inks will consist of at least 90 percent Australian ingredients which will allow them to proudly state and be labeled as made in Australia.

This ink is an ash dark grey based upon Federation Peak, a lone quartzite mountain possessing a menacing sharp spire on the Eastern most tip of the East Arthur ranges, overlooking Hanging Lake and 600m above Lake Geeves in the southwest wilderness of Tasmania.

Sir Edmund Hilary declared that Federation Peak was "Australia's only real mountain." Van Dieman's wanted to pay homage to this captivating monument to Australia's history and Tasmania's wilderness.
