Van Dieman’s Parrot Fish from the Underwater series is a bright turquoise blue ink with medium shading and purple shimmer. It dries in 20 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Van Dieman’s ink is made in Australia.
Van Dieman's is a proud Australian company that has made a concerted effort to improved their inks formula's and sourcing. Van Diemans inks will consist of at least 90 percent Australian ingredients which will allow them to proudly state and be labeled as made in Australia.
The Night series was the first to use the reformulations. We will have new swatches up as soon as they are available.

Van Dieman's Underwater is the 7th series from Van Dieman’s Ink. Inspired by the Flora, Fauna, regions and mystery of the ocean, this collection of sixteen fountain pen and shimmer inks contains some of our most unique and experimental inks to date.
The Parrot Fish is one of the most colorful fish imaginable that live in our oceans, and it was the inspiration for this bright and bubbly ink. This ink has a perfect turquoise base color and a vibrant purple shimmer.
