This has been my favorite shading turquoise since its debut. The ink blot above is just not representative of the color at all! It is a slightly cooler blue turquoise with heavier deposition shading leaning to deep purplish blue. In a wet flex nib pen the result is just heavenly....colors range from pale aqua to turquoise blue, deep peacock blue to dark purplish sapphire blue in a single stroke...stunning! The ink smear accompanied by the vapid notes, not to mention its bemusing moniker, seem to have relegated it to review obscurity, until today. I still am nonplussed by its beauty every time I put it to papers. If you prefer a bit more green in your turquoise, just see what it looks like on cream colored papers! If you love high performing shading inks, I can't think why you shouldn't avail yourself of a sample. The name I'd have given this stunner..... Vainglorious Peacock Blue! view less
