Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-ryoku: a lovely medium green
If you like medium green, and you like the flow and saturation of Iroshizuku inks, Shin-ryoku is an ink for you!
Shin-ryoku is a wonderful bright medium green, maybe w...view moreith a VERY slight blue hue (that I only see when I put a sample of a teal ink next to a sample of the Shin-ryoku). The ink does shade a bit, but especially with fine nibs, shading is subtle. Of course the flow and general performance of the ink in a pen is typical of Iroshizuku inks, that is: excellent. I have now written several pages with the ink, and I am more impressed than I expected to be. It might be a little bit bright for every day in the office, but for personal or holiday correspondence, it is a lovely color and behaves extremely well. view less
