Lives up to the hype
This is such a lovely shade of golden yellow. The saturation, and shading, are out of this world!

Beautiful Golden Ink!
Love the color and the shading with larger nibs (bold, stub, and up).
Nice ink that fills the niche between the usual yellows to browns.

Bought a sample and fell in love!
A yellow/red ink is not something I thought I would ever like. I gravitate towards greys with a touch of purple in them, or aqua/turquoise inks. Sophisticated, readable ochre yellow
My favorite yellow ink, and the first sample I have ever used up completely. I am so impressed by the excellent shading I get out of every letter. I often use it for school notes o...view moren cheap copy paper in a hacked 0.7 point rollerball, which still shows off the lovely shading.
The color swatch shows a sunny yellow, but I usually get more mustard and ocher tones from this ink (perhaps because of my cheap paper). This makes it more sophisticated readable than a vibrant yellow, an ink I could write a letter to my grandmother in and know that her eyes could read it. Will be buying a full bottle to replace the sample!
Although this isn't a deliberately scented ink, it does have noticeable vanilla smell. view less
