Van Dieman's The Wilderness Series- Firetail Finch

Van Dieman’s Firetail Finch from the Wilderness Series is a medium scarlet red with low shading. It dries in 15 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has a slightly dry flow. Van Dieman’s ink is made in Australia.

Van Dieman's is a proud Australian company that has made a concerted effort to improved their inks formula's and sourcing. Van Diemans inks will consist of at least 90 percent Australian ingredients which will allow them to proudly state and be labeled as made in Australia.

This ink is a unique and vivid red, inspired by the The Beautiful Firetail, a native bird species endemic to Tasmania and the neighboring islands, standing out with his lustrous red tail. This finch, and many other of Tasmania’s fauna remain abundant, due to the vast stretches of wilderness left untouched.
