Diamine Lilac Satin from the 2016 Shimmertastic collection is a medium lilac purple fountain pen ink with low shading, a little gold sheen in large swabs, and gold shimmer. It dries in 30 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Diamine ink has been made in England since 1864.
The shimmer shows up more vibrantly and the flow is smoother the broader the nib size. Gently shaking the bottle or vial will evenly redistribute the shimmer throughout the ink.
