Pennonia Hupikék Whoopie Blue

Pennonia Hupikék (Whoopie Blue) is a light sky blue with medium shading. It dries in 40 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has a slightly dry flow. Pennonia is a Hungarian company.

Pennonia Hupikék is a light blue that, some say, was inspired by the color of the Smurfs. Growing up the Smurfs was one of Máté's favorite cartoons and he always watched it on TV. In Hungarian name of the show was Hupikék Törpikék.

The name actually refers to the blue your skin gets after you get beaten, or whooped and that’s why this ink is called Whoopie Blue in English.
