Best black
The best black ink I've used. Excellently behaved, stubbornly permanent, great flow, easy cleaning. I use it in many vintage pens without hesitation. Yes, some Noodler's inks are i...view morenconsistent. Their black, though, I've found to be true through the many 3-ounce bottles I've used. The only drawback is long dry times; this ink is best for more absorbent papers, making it perfect for workplace settings, which is where I use it. view less

Really rich black!
Lays down nice and wet. Blacker than night Stands out great on the page. Dipped my Esterbrook J with fine nib in it to test Now I need to try it with an EF.

Works just as Promised!
I loaded my first ever Noodler's Black into a shiny new TWSBI Vac Mini (M). Worked perfectly in my less-FP-friendly-than-I-would-like 1917 Bullet Journal, with almost no ghosting a...view morend not a bit of bleeding through. Same on Rhodia paper. More important, it wrote perfectly on cheap Office Depot yellow pad paper. Again no bleeding and minimal ghosting. And just for the fun of it, I ran the yellowpad page and the Rhodia page under the kitchen sink. The other colors (from various brands) on those pages had various levels of washing away -- some almost gone with just a little water. Bulletproof Black shrugged the water off completely - no wash-away or other damage to the writing. I am a fan! view less
