Standard oxford blue
This is a medium blue with great shading. Well-behaved just like all the other Diamine inks.

Oxford Blue Recommendation
I wanted a dark blue ink that was not blue-black nor black. This is it for me although there could be others.
Pen: Pilot Plumix with 1.0 mm stub nib.
Paper: Clairfonta...view moreine- shading only when writing very fast, no feathering, ghosting, or bleed through.
Paper: Ampad Golden Fibre (cheap) - a little shading, no noticeable feathering without a magnifying glass, occasional bleed through slowly written capital letters, and slight ghosting.
Recommendation: if you want a dark blue ink, a sample is strongly recommended. view less

On tomoe river paper with a medium nib, the red sheen really stands out on the edges. The blue itself is nice, very rich. Writes well.
