The actual ink sample, on... view more the various kinds of paper I tried (almost two dozen different test sheets) was sometimes a light oak (not the darker shade shown above) or in most cases a peanut-butter brown. Depending on the paper, it might shade a little, but you really only notice the shading if you spread a few layers of ink in a swatch. On most papers, this had a dry to moderate flow. I didn't love it, but if you want a fairly dry peanut-butter-colored ink, this may be the one for you. view less
